    The Poncho

One of the appeals of the poncho is its’ simplicity and functionality. You know those days in the fall and winter when you think “man I wish I could just have a big blanket wrapped around me,” Well now you can! Ponchos are easy to style and will keep you nice and warm. I saw one of my friends wearing this Abercrombie and Fitch poncho and fell in love. The colors are great because they are earthy neutral colors and go with most of my current wardrobe. Below are some tips on how to rock that poncho this fall 1) Top: Wear a neutral color top underneath. Stick with the higher necklines, crew neck, mock…

    Warm up with Merlot

It has finally started to drop in temperature, and I was excited to rock this merlot colored coat, from Shein that I bought over the summer. I love the trend this fall of merlot colored clothing for many reasons. 1) It matches all the beautiful fall leaves 2)Merlot gives your outfit a bold and sassy kick, just like the vino 3) It looks good in all shapes and styles, purses, coats, pants, scarves you name it. Plus I love wine :). I bought the coat as a “one size,” this can be awesome for online shopping, but can also get tricky. It makes it very easy to shop online because you…

    Palazzo

From skinny jeans to these loose fitting “palazzo” pants, style is alway changing, and that is why I love it. Skinny jeans will always be in my wardrobe, but I have added a couple of palazzo pants this autumn. Although they are loose, when worn with heels and balanced out with a more fitted top, they can have a slimming effect. Shops are selling them in all different kinds of patterns and colors. I’d suggest finding a pattern that matches best with your wardrobe or going for a good old black pair. Now I’m on the shorter side, about 5’4, so I love pieces that give me a little…

    Warmer Fall Days

Yesterday my boyfriend and I attended Independent’s Day Festival in Franklinton, Columbus, OH. There was so much to see! Every corner of the neighborhood was displaying pieces of art. There was everything, jewelry vendors, carpenters, live art, graffiti art, music, and much more! Creativity was definitely in the air. I loved seeing all the bright, vibrant colors and the liveliness of the festival. There were so many cool hidden pieces of art at this festival. In the background of some of my photos, you can spot a gold toilet hanging from the building. Other ones you can see graffiti art in the making as artist spray painted. Around one of…

    Baby Blues

Fall fashion is probably one of my favorites. I love layering sweaters, jackets, scarfs, boots and not having to think about what shirts would show my sweat (sorry gross I know). Summer, you are my favorite for lighting, I don’t like when it gets dark at 5 pm, it makes photo shoots a bit more challenging, making September an awesome month for photo shoots. It starts to cool down but still has great lighting. We lucked out with this shoot because it started off shaky. Me, being a bit distraught from a busy week, forgot to put the SD card back in the camera. Eek! We got to the location…
