Patterned Pants

These are some of my favorite pants from H&M, I bought them about 4 years ago for just $6.99. They might look kind of crazy by themselves on the hanger, but paired with some more neutral pieces, it tones the look down. I love them because they are different; they are different than my everyday jeans I end up wearing in the winter. If you are out shopping and see a piece that is a bit too crazy for your wardrobe, but you think it is cool, get it! When styling that piece, remember to blend it with neutral pieces to get that everyday look.

The Cream Wool Jacket

Not all winter coats have to be puffy and plain. I found this cream wool jacket from Russia at a local Columbus consignment shop, called Second Chance Consignment. I thought the trim and clasps on the jacket were unique and added some character to a simple black outfit. One of the reasons I love fashion is that I can play dress up every day. This jacket is a bit more costume style than every day, but paired with other simple clothing you can make it work!

After many years of searching, I found myself a winter camel coat! No surprise here that it came from one of my favorite stores, Zara. The look of a camel coat gives your outfit a touch sophistication and the length provide extra warmth. I choose the style of this coat because of its’ structure; it is slimming and fitted. Winter coats can be hard to shop for; I usually am torn between warmth and not looking like a marshmallow. A fitted wool coat is a great option for looking stylish no matter the temperature. Another piece of this outfit that I’m excited to have found, my jeans. I found them at a local store in Columbus, Tigertree. They are good old fashion Levi’s. My very first pair of cigarette jeans were Levi’s, back in middle school. They were the only jeans I wore, and I wore them all the time! Darker jeans are my favorite because they also make your outfit look nicer and more sophisticated. Last but not least is my simple yet beautiful Chertova zodiac necklace. The simple design and choker like length make it perfect for everyday use and easy to dress up by layering it with other necklaces. Plus it has my horoscope on it, Pisces, which for those of you don’t know me I love sporting my zodiac sign. For timeless pieces, invest in ones that you know will last long, fit correctly, and have a hint of sophistication, these will last throughout the years no matter the trends.
