Growing up, my sisters and I would always borrow each others’ clothing. Yes sometimes it turned into an argument or the other would claim they were going to wear that first, but in the end we’d hand it over in hopes the favor would be returned. More than half of my outfits, if not handed down were borrowed from my sisters. I loved borrowing from them because it saved me a trip to the store, saved me money, and pushed me to get creative with outfits. When my oldest sister, Gibson, came to me and asked if I would style her for the weekend in Dallas, I was thrilled. With just my carry on for the trip, I went to work styling. I played around with the clothing I had already brought and what would fit her well. She is tall with long legs so I thought these pants would be gorgeous on her, especially when she walked in them. She wanted something a bit more sexy, which is where the crop top came in and worked perfectly with the pants. Threw in my vintage gold opera coat for when it cooled down at night and she was all set to go.
